  1. @rsoeteman ok, I get it now ;-)
  2. @rsoeteman Aah, you suggested using an existing pdf-doc with placeholders, and then merge content into the template?
  3. @rsoeteman @windstorms But css-conversion is not really well supported in iText, as far as I know, so some general styles must be applied.
  4. @rsoeteman @windstorms To avoid e.g. navigation-controls etc. you can (optionally) limit node-content to a specific div-tag
  5. @rsoeteman @windstorms If you mean Umb templates, I use the std template specified on the node.
  6. @rsoeteman Thanks. The layout is now the biggest issue.Complete conversion of the html/css is not realistic, but hopefully it will be enough
  7. If anyone is interested, the first live #Umbraco PdfCreator demo is kind of working, see http://bit.ly/iNxvQ. Some layout styling remains...

  10. @paulsterling i wanted to be able to print content (nodes+subnodes) as a common document/book, in this case as pdf
  11. @paulsterling funny - I was just starting the same project the other day - using itextsharp.
  12. wuuhaa - my main site just upgraded from umbraco v3 to v4 - without much trouble, actually. Gone live, now crossing my fingers...
  13. home after almost 3 weeks of vacation - without computer. Unusual. Now 8 weeks of paternity leave coming up - with computers
  14. just found a hotspot and 15 minutes spare time
  15. @pdijksterhuis thanks Peter ;-)
  16. @netaddicts took a look at your member filter control yesterday, and it looks really nice. I'll bring everything along on my laptop
  17. @perploughansen there seem to be some link problems, in our.umbraco (updating now?) - e.g. in my "Upload project files" http://bit.ly/H3Ag
  18. @netaddicts Hi Dirk, regarding your member filter improvements - from Wednesday I'm going offline for 2½ weeks, but I bring my laptop.
  19. I can't believe how busy it can be at work before 10 weeks of paternity leave. But hopefully it's worth the hard work.
  20. Basic desktop infrastructure (incl. mail) up and running again. Now moving on to IIS, VS, SQLServer,...
