  3. just finished presenting a workshop on film and sound in Cardiff, linked to Prestatyn and Aberystwyth by satellite and Skype. Phew.
  4. New BBC comp may be for over-18s but the documentary footage they provide can legally be used in any school etc - potentially very useful

  16. good two days film-making/iMovie/Garageband training for Euro exchange project in Newport, looking forward to the rest of the project.
  17. @johndavitt Not sure I'd get SLR, maybe Panasonic LX3 (new model due Spring). D300 is very good but I don't use it enough to justify it.
  18. @johndavitt D300 great control for experienced photographers but too big and heavy, if buying again would get something smaller and cheaper.
  19. @theokk wouldn't get the 18-200 myself, I got the 16-85 which is superb (though a lot more expensive).
  20. good day's training/planning at Duffryn High School, looking forward to the project.
