  1. Trying to do a little profiling with Very Sleepy. Bizarre name for a code profiler...
  2. Lesson learned today: Don't install AMD CodeAnalyzer on a VM unless you like blue screens.
  3. Looking at some code, trying to figure out how to refactor it to avoid copies of some memory buffers. This is going to hurt :/
  4. Oops! Make that four times today. Awesome!
  5. Stupid VBox has hanged 3 times this morning. Gah!
  6. I love Dargaard's Transfer Complete song (from the Eternity Rites album). It's strange, but oddly emotive.
  7. @chriskadel Actually, it's more than that... many times I only want to see pending checkins for a single project, or folder!
  8. @chriskadel It has no knowledge of scope. It's hard to read. The ctxt menu options are not well named.
  9. I had forgotten just how bad the pending changes dialogs in TFS are usability-wise!
  10. I love a SCCS tool that tells you there's a conflict, but doesn't provide you any tools for resolving them at that point!
  11. @larsw What's the IP -> WCF problem?
  12. I'm always totally exhausted after any kind of presentation!
  13. @horuskol I have no clue what an "English Fry-Up" is, but I'll take your word for it :-)
  14. @horuskol Breakfast? Oh. My. God. I can't even stand meat for breakfast, much less greasy old pizza!
  15. Got a presentation tomorrow. Taking my linux laptop with me with all the stuff in a windows vm. We'll see how it goes.
  16. @shanselman Why in gods name would anyone want to eat cold pizza?
  17. @SamGentile Strangely enough, I haven't read Neuromancer either! Should try to get it next time I'm in the US...
  18. These extra sunny afternoons are killing me. Office turns into an oven!
  19. Reduced the video memory available to the VM and that fixed the video problem. Weird!
  20. Put my vbox windows vm on my linux laptop, and the vm is stuck at 640x480 with 4-bit color. Not happy :(
