  1. Still playing with Firefox 3.5 but Evernote isn't working well with it as of yesterday so I'm back to Safari 4 when in clipping mode.
  2. Spent more time with Scrivener for Mac. Read new post in TUAW plus comments. Corkboard is my favorite UI feature so far. Bought it for $40.
  3. @evernote I would love it if I could adjust the brightness of some of my images in Evernote. Any chance will see this kind of thing?
  4. Thanks @evernote - your evernote.com website UI is much improved - use of color especially. My 3495 notes & notebooks looking good!
  5. @zssz Yes, I know about Quicksilver but have never mastered it and am less enthused about it now that it is no longer being updated.
  6. Trying out Scrivener to keep track of a FileMaker database project. 1 *card* for each major table. Like the cork board. http://bit.ly/EpMpC
  7. If you like writing at least a little bit, Tweeting can be fun and gamelike. You've got 140 characters to express something well.
  8. @zssz Yeah, 40 icons on a Mac dock must be *doing it wrong*. I also have lots of apps open & use cmd-tab to switch between. Quicksilver huh?
  9. If you are just now trying to establish a web presence via a blog. Get a blog up w/ 2-3 good posts, but build readership faster on twitter.
  10. Surfing with brand new Firefox 3.5 today. Usually on Safari 4 but this version seems to rock pretty hard even without plug-ins.
  11. Highly recommend a blogging and online communication class taught by @brainmaker in Novato. Excellent thinking there. http://bit.ly/P4Kpw
  12. @zssz It used to make sense with a wide screen to have the dock vertical but now with dock hiding ON, horizontal makes my 40 icons legible.
  13. Whoa! Switching the dock from left to bottom completely mixes up my spatial knowledge of where things are on the dock. 40 items on there...
  14. Liking Mac Power Users podcast w/ Katie Floyd & David Sparks. Episode on writing tools http://bit.ly/1xitui David loves Scrivener. Chkg now.
  15. Since switch to MacBook Air from 15" MBP, turned dock hiding on, moved dock from left to bottom. Every inch counts now. But lightness rules.
  16. @rebecka7 Thanks. I will try deleting both prefs files for addressbook as part of the process of moving a Tiger addressbook to Leopard Adbk.
  17. Writing note in Evernote desktop app on Mac. But @Evernote is generating thumbnail images. typing is impeded. Cancelled doesn't help. :-(
  18. iPhone sales of new models peak quickly & then taper off. By launching iPhone in a few countries at a time, Apple can stretch sales/buzz out
  19. @OmniFocus Should there be any problem syncing my Mac Omnifocus to both of my iPhones. New 3GS is having trouble with the initial sync.
  20. @kdoronzio Double-checking. You're saying trash or replace the Addressbook.plist file in ~/Library/Preferences along with db in App Support?
