  1. @bmichelson @cbaudoin No atmosphere, no cloud. You only get a cloud by slamming a rocket into it. Some orgs may require that to get cloud 2.
  2. @martinjmurray There was a mythbusters episode where they did polish a turd. Came out quite shiny, actually.
  3. Good discussion via email with @logicalleap and @gleganza on EA services. Hope to get a blog post on it soon.
  4. Listening to a great podcast from @windley and @itconversations with Carmine Gallo. http://bit.ly/2iIBdg
  5. I liked this blog post from Douglas Paul Thiel: http://bit.ly/27yp1z
  6. @leodesousa I was shocked to see that we actually scored more than 1 goal in a game.
  7. @cote I like DailyBurn, but it's still a bit rough around the edges. There's a companion web app with full synch.
  8. @MostTornBrain any chance of getting source for your Bluetooth app?
  9. Thanks to @leodesousa I am now on Google Wave.
  10. @jpmorgenthal +1. I can't speak for ITIL v2, but the v3 service concept is much closer to my def of service in SOA.
  11. My first "ask the expert" response for SearchSOA: http://bit.ly/9qkes #SOA #BPM #BPMN Interested in thoughts from other experts. :)
  12. @leodesousa nope, not yet
  13. I'm happy that sales of my SOA Governance book improved since Oracle OpenWorld. I must have said something right. :) http://bit.ly/37F686
  14. @moesjones and reverse that sentence, and you have why ITSM-types don't do architecture. We need both, leaders should collaborate.
  15. .@gleganza re:ITSM and EA, disconnected is the right word, not necessarily competing. They should be talking to each other but freq are not.
  16. .@jevdemon effective, transparent communication on the work being done should tell you early whether work is valuable to others.
  17. .@jevdemon agree w/your comment on measurability, but ivory tower is a symptom of poor communication more so than poor work.
  18. .@jevdemon #entarch metrics are one of the things that need to be communicated, especially to stakeholders.
  19. .@jevdemon that doesn't mean #entarch metrics aren't important though.
  20. .@jevdemon I'd argue that a clearly defined communication plan for #entarch is more important for ivory tower prevention than metrics.
