  1. @BrianGenisio shared state sucks. Can you get rid of it?
  2. @BrianGenisio are updates sent periodically? Perhaps new components could idle until they've received all necessary events.
  3. @BrianGenisio depends on how important avoiding conflict is, I suppose.
  4. @BrianGenisio it asks?
  5. @BrianGenisio don't? Probably doesn't answer your question. Will message passing work?
  6. @BrianGenisio fair enough ;-) If it makes you feel better, I'd respond the same for Flash, GWT, etc, etc…
  7. @BrianGenisio silverlight is the right tool for something?
  8. @BrianGenisio create layers/boundaries as necessary to further reduce mocking, e.g. introduce Service object.
  9. @BrianGenisio maybe: mock only across layers, never within the same layer, e.g. mock controller to model, but never model to model. etc, etc
  10. I think I've finally discovered the happy medium between too much test mocking and no mocking. Fragile balance.
  11. I'm being victimized by a "net-negative" programmer. Patience thin.
  12. @x96lee15 I don't know about everybody else, but I've always been celebrating the winter solstice. Yay! the days start to get longer again!
  13. @bguthrie agreed. Great film.
  14. @x96lee15 well, be sure to ping me if you find anything interesting to do with it.
  15. @aberant once you let chainsaw wielding bears into your code-base, all bets are off.
  16. @BrianGenisio the bots are interesting. http://tr.im/FGvL
  17. @x96lee15 I think I still have one if you need it.
  18. @aberant how could we have forgotten about this? http://tr.im/FGkB
  19. @aberant you mean like this? http://rubyforge.org/projects/deep-test/
  20. @BrianGenisio hard 'g': http://tr.im/FFNS
