  1. @tickvg Plus, you get very good support from @davidcarrington aka @dabr , who created it for his own use.
  2. @tickvg ... In fact when I'm on a PC I still vastly prefer it and use it all the time in preference to twitter.com. Try it!!
  3. @tickvg No idea what it's like on an iPhone, but the mobile website http://dabr.co.uk is brilliant on my phone...
  4. @musicgeekchic Well I played through his B minor Sarabande, which has lots of nice 3- & 4-note chords in it :-)
  5. @sallycrawford I've been rather overwhelmed by them today, but seem to have coped with them. Lots of Bach tomorrow :-)
  6. @Tittch ... There's some connection with the RNCM. Someone passed my name on to him. Think there's some nominal ££E involved, too.
  7. @Tittch ... He was an alarmingly competent 17 year old. Was just like a normal call from someone fixing an orchestra. ...
  8. @Tittch ... I had a phone call from a 17 year old(!) who'd organised the orchestra for it. 2 violins had to drop out at last min ...
  9. @Tittch Oh, did you miss yesterday's tweets about it? Yes, I agreed yesterday to play Bach B Minor Mass tomorrow ...
  10. . @mariancall Do you think I might be a morning person after all? I finally come alive at about 1:30 am, which is technically morning ;-)
  11. @Tittch Sort of! I think I'll find out tomorrow whether I really am or not ;-)
  12. @BonnieBrown That's a relief! Internet connection, I mean.
  13. Ah. Saw a phone number and it looked like a fingering. That's a good sign. Means my brain's getting into sightreading mode. I hope.
  14. ... Hopefully that's re-familiarised my fingers with the instrument, at least, and tomorrow they'll be ready to play more convincingly.
  15. Didn't really have the energy for proper practice. Played some scales and played through some partita movements...
  16. OK, I'll do some scales & finger exercises, I think. Just make sure I can still play. Think I've got the energy for that.
  17. @SerenityWorks Not smaller than it was, I hope? ;-)
  18. Why do some people help in a way that's so exhausting that it takes days to recover from?
  19. @musicgeekchic Or practise all the Bach I can find that's in B minor?
  20. @musicgeekchic Maybe I'll just decide to be indecisive for a bit. ;-)
