  1. @jelundberg Thanks! You're the only sale so far! It'll take like two months for it to get on Amazon probably.
  2. Ah, giant juicy cheeseburgers with barbecue sauce, I can always count on you to cheer me up.
  3. @joemts We get that comparison a lot -- especially when he wears his white dalmatian-patterned fuzzy coat!
  4. http://twitpic.com/rsi0s - River at the play cafe today. At sea!
  5. @tiffany Thanks! I was happy with how the cover came out. I may do variant covers if I feel motivated...
  6. @JonathanStrahan It's the cognitive dissonance for me -- it's the size of a mass-market paperback, but so very much not mass market!
  7. @jelundberg No, adding the author notes would have increased page count and made it even MORE expensive, and I liked it as just the story.
  8. (Sorry Bone Shop is so spendy. High per-unit cost for POD + online retailers' required margins = pricy paperback!) http://is.gd/59vSL
  9. The print edition of Bone Shop is available at Lulu.com now, should be at Amazon etc... sometime. http://is.gd/59vSL
  10. Working on my 150th set of porn reviews; totals around 300 movies reviewed. Would I watch porn without getting paid? Yes, but not this much.
  11. @MaryRobinette Nowadays Goodkind *actually* doesn't write fantasy. He's moved into self-described "mainstream thrillers."
  12. I was planning to go out with the kid, but he's playing nicely and non-destructively, so I'm just gonna sit here quietly and internet.
  13. I thought the stroller tire had a leak. Took it off and everything. It's fine, but our bicycle pump is leaking! Inauspicious start to day.
  14. So. Tired. Though I have been up for 18 hours, with much time spent baby-chasing, so that makes sense.
  15. Got my 3,000 words written today. Only wrote 2,000 yesterday, but I lost time to dealing with a computer virus. Overall good progress.
  16. @dorfird Yep. T.A. Pratt is for that series, Tim Pratt for everything else.
  17. @michaeljasper Now that you're a DC writer you'd better introduce me to Batman!
  18. @seananmcguire I love King pretty much without reservation, but have mixed feelings about Syfy! I'll certainly watch though.
  19. Should I work on the work-for-hire book or the story that's due in February? Decisions, decisions...
  20. @seananmcguire Weird, Syfy doing a series based on... a non-speculative King novella. Though it sounds like they're radically changing it.
