  1. lazytwitter ideas for places to have a company holiday dinner party with about 30 people in downtown SF?
  2. @jayreitz cool! What are we using lua for?
  3. I just generated a #TweetCloud out of a year of my tweets. Top three words: people, yeah, maybe - http://w33.us/4vqu
  4. @srbaker os x is not about to pull a Betamax. They are winning, just in the market they want to. ;)
  5. @srbaker because not everybody likes the academically 'best' :P
  6. @KirinDave yeah, I'm excited
  7. @robbyrussell you are right, I've never found RDMS preferences to get religious to the point of ignoring things like that :D
  8. @robbyrussell stand-by for a flood of unhelpful "just use postgres" comments. :/
  9. @bleything ah, cool, I guess my old machine was WAY behind then. And it worked (even if I had to download a fan utility to crank the fan)
  10. @bleything but always going to have integrated graphics, so behind current gaming curve. If you play way turned down or older games *shrug*
  11. @bleything my 3 year old 17 handles fallout 3, with settings turned down. iMac will never be a serious gaming rig, but works enough
  12. @daksis that Thai place for Thursday? Sunday? Next week?
  13. @coda ouch fuck. And you are not searching a directory with some giant mega/gigabyte files accidentally? 99% that's what kills me
  14. @jm @coda Ack in project works fine for me. Hell, exclude your vendor/log/etc junk and even the built-in search works.
  15. @hasmanyjosh especially since feedburner let's people easily sign-up with a form and subscribe to an email.
  16. Forgot my favorite Arabic joint was in this hood. Flavor overload: cardamom, orange-flower water and zataar, tongue pleasantly shellshocked
  17. Feel speed through the boonies of SLC on light rail and AT&T 3G still works way better than in SF
  18. Sportmanteau
  19. @court3nay it'd be awesome if reverse look-up pulled up a business. Show up for 'work' and be all "what, you called me?"
  20. @jbarnette AWESOME!
