  1. @opsGordon excellent! I remember @opsGavin showing me that at NSConf 09, but of course it didn't find any idiots in the vicinity there.
  2. @mikeabdullah absolutely; the whole "click on dock icon and get a new document if you've got nothing already open" thing really bugs me
  3. in ur betaz fixin ur erratumz
  4. @dannygreg I was just about to comment on the icon, but didn't want to make it sound like that was the only thing I liked!
  5. @mikeabdullah would love to figure out a way to stop it creating new docs all the time, like an applicationShouldOpenUntitledFile: option
  6. @iamleeg as in Norton Anti-Virus?
  7. @mikeabdullah there's a prefs option that allows the New command either to open the theme chooser or new pres with specified theme.
  8. @neilinglis please email me to let me know which days you'd like accommodation and I will check with the venue. tim @ full nsconf domain.
  9. @daveverwer new shiny for the Shiny Dev? If you're going to Apple store, could you scream at them for not having the Magic Mouse on sale?!
  10. @bdudney sure I had it working nicely last week; now all I can do is dismiss 1 (no animation) before popping another (with or without anim)
  11. @bdudney how do you mean? Dismiss one, launch another? or have one on top of another?
  12. #protip, if you're talking about NSRects, don't hesitate too much: "blah, blah, NSRect, ummmm". Now I can't code Quartz without giggling.
  13. @bdudney Go Team Dudney!
  14. @sgaw is it a standard UITableView look or your own? If standard, imho (a) looks ugly. And can cause performance prob calculating heights?
  15. After testing a few names, it seems if you register an iPhone app <word1><word2>, you can't/don't need to register <word1><space><word2>.
  16. @bonaldi :) Yes, I think I already have a fairly lengthy rant of my own...
  17. Didn't know ye olde System 7 Stationary option in Finder Get Info is Stationary Pad in OS X. tested it, this happened: http://embr.it/5A
  18. ooo - Zombies for iPhone: http://www.westbright.com/ Congratulations @mattwest !
  19. Lazy Tweet: Does Apple count an iPhone app named <word1><space><word2> as being the same as <word1><word2>? I can only register the former.
  20. And yes, I know I can create my own, but for books etc I need to keep Xcode in a reasonably default state :(
