  7. So seriously, take your kids to the Hangar Theatre production of Busytown (based on Richard Scarry books) this weekend if you're in Ithaca.
  8. Go see Busytown at Ithaca's Hangar Theatre. It was totally delightful. The kids loved it--Baker Charlie & Humperdink were their faves!
  9. Kids' names I've heard out here: Athena, Race, Sterling, Thorn.
  10. They're cute enough, but I'm just not that into the flaphappy hats.
  11. She wanted a Mets facepainting, but only Yankees or Giants were available.
  12. Bought quart of fresh blues. This is quite a sight, must be nearly 100 small children and strollers under this tree. Wow again, Ithaca.
  13. Why do California Baby sunscreens tint my kids' faces pink? One has to assume it's intentional, but to what purpose?
  14. Left the apartment without grocery bag or baby's shoes ... Yay, apple cider donuts at the farmers' market story hour and fairy facepainting.
  15. And now bunny books at story hour in the Ithaca Children's Garden. This is a strange and magical place.
  16. Taking this opportunity to do a little Attitude Boot Camp with the--mostly well behaved, but, ahem, whiney and stubborn--preschooler.
  17. @Sandvichorg Fantastic, thanks! We had shrimp fried rice and crab rangoon and fresh summer rolls at the Ithaca Farmers' Market today. Yum.
