  3. Looking forward to seeing the new Harry Potter with the girls after work.
  4. Learned my mom will need both knees replaced last night. Being rather self centered my body has decided to have sympathetic knee pain today.
  5. All packed up and headed out for a sweet ride home on my bike and *snap* I can't get out of first gear. Family support crew on the way.

  12. @unixmonkey I will likely take the family to Chicago if I go too. Think we'll go see the Harry Potter exhibit while we're there.

  15. Just signed up for http://rubyhoedown.com/. August 28-29th in Nashville, TN.

  17. I believe I've got a legit need for an abstract static method and Java just isn't going to let me do it.
  18. Office productivity study finds workers with Flight Control game on their iPhones taking considerably longer "bio breaks".
  19. While there is something to be said for a buttery reminder after the meal, in general beards and corn on the cob don't play well together.
  20. Dad just emailed that the engine stopped on his ultralight. He was in OH and did a 2 minute glide back to land safely in an IN bean field.
