  1. @richjohnston Hadn't ever really given it much thought. But it would be a good idea.
  2. Please keep Cadbury British. I don't see how Kraft will do them any good, to be honest.
  3. Is concerned how Cadbury, an ethical, socially aware, profitable company could be bullied out of their own company by somebody anything but.
  4. @need_a_username Meaning no disrespect to you or your mum, that is not the case.
  5. I saw that through the excellent Film4 channel a few years back. You can like it as a war movie or a horror movie. Again very creepy.
  6. Would definitely recommend recommend Su-chang Kong's 'R-Point' though. A very clever gothic horror story set in Vietnam.
  7. But, yes, disturbing. VERY disturbing.
  8. @cboscott Audition is very disturbing, I agree. It kind o gets classified as a horror movie. It's not REALLY, but it's very hard to classify
  9. If you are willing to watch something a little more unpleasant, but dramatically sound... ;D
  10. And later Park Chan-Wook's Vengeance Trilogy. Not really thematically quite so in tune with the ton of my Blog, granted, but all good movies
  11. Which yielded some great movie discoveries from Japan and Korea, such as Dark Water, Ju-On (The Grudge), Battle Royale, R-Point and others.
  12. Discovering Ringu in conjunction with The American Ring back in 2003 did send me down the dark path of Tartan Asia Extreme, mind.
  13. No random men pointing with bags over their heads, and nowhere near as disturbing tho.
  14. Far more thought out, granted. Each image very specifically explained, & worked through. But it does lose some of the charm of the original.
  15. Granted volcanoes and psychics were not quite so translatable to an American audience. But the Irish Horse farming alternative? Not so good.
  16. I like a number of scenes in that remake, and soe of the deleted scenes, but I did not think so much of the video explanation.
  17. The Ring (2002) was actually pretty good, but amalgamated scenes from both Ring and Ring 2 in places.
  18. The American remakes (If you can really call The Ring Two and soon to be The Ring Three remakes) not so much.
  19. Well, Ring and Ring 2, anyway. Ring 0: Birthday was needlessly complicated and just not damn scary enough.
  20. @cboscott Obviously that was over 10 years ago, now. And she's less of a teenager, now. But, yes, it's her. Damn I love The Ring movies.
