  1. @SDBrook That's not too bad I think. I'll be damned if I recall how many users Facebook has off the top of my head.
  2. Only got 44 out of 75 in the Media Guardian Christmas quiz. Fairly poor to be frank.
  3. @williamt Not even about speed (though it is slow) - offline syncing just doesn't seem to work very well. Misses stuff or doesn't update.
  4. Am rapidly falling out of love with the Guardian iPhone app, now going from "alright with major missing features" to "poor".
  5. Just downloaded the Guardian's iPhone app. Good, but no comments at all. Sigh. Comments are the only reason for CiF to exist.
  6. @bungietweets Can we pls have the Reach wallpaper without the Spartans blacked out uploaded? x
  7. Still, can't match yesterday when their writer admitted in the comments he done the peice without knowing what our libel laws were...
  8. Sigh, the Guardian's incredibly self serving attacks on our libel laws continue today.
  9. The Guardian tweeters seem to be talking a lot about an iPhone app without actually saying very much.
  10. @guycocker ask about iPlayer for the 360.
  11. As much as I appreciate the difficulties of international rights clearances etc, Vevo isn't worth doing on a country specific basis.
  12. And as any agent will tell you, dealing with the BBC's Indian outsourced accounts is simply horrible.
  13. The people I speak to in the BBC tell me they've not been able to telephone anyone for six months due to a shitty new VOIP phone system.
  14. This week's Ariel has an article by the BBC's head of HR admitting that outsourcing there has been an utter disaster.
  15. I mean, BBC Technology has been proven to be a disaster beyond words that costs us licence fee payers a fortune to get iPlayer et al running
  16. Isn't it time Mark Thompson was sacked for his outsourcing fiascos? http://bit.ly/5VKOFo (sorry, article itself is behind paywall).
  17. The Sun once again caught completely fabricating a story - http://bit.ly/7QkeKH. Why don't Asda sue for libel?
  18. More Cory Doctorow bullshit in the Guardian today. Will hopefully have more time to tear it apart tomorrow.
  19. Ooh, I got to see the Guardian's new 404 page. Wait, I'm at the homepage. That's not so good then.
  20. @richjohnston I wouldn't recommend googling it to find out.
