  1. Goodnight all.
  2. @iamjamesward It works. Perhaps too well.
  3. @HelenGribbin I find that leaving London (and indeed England) makes me happy. It's a short-term solution.
  4. Amazing to think that I'm in Berlin and it's 1.47am, whereas James Ward is in London, a full hour behind. There's so much he doesn't know.
  5. I am a bit drunk. Partly on wine, partly on the fact that being abroad alleviates my innate misanthropy.
  6. I went to a lovely dinner party in Copenhagener Str. I ate chard quiche and drank wine. I discussed Pavement and Krautrock with a German man
  7. Hello. I am typing in the dark, like that song by Bruce Springsteen. Any second now I will be joined by Courtney Cox.
  8. It's not too late for my Milliband tweet to be voted Tweet of the Year.
  9. "It has James Bond. And James Bond flying a plane. And a plane crash. My favourite things!" he said. He's a highly qualified anaesthetist.
  10. I am sitting in a large Berlin flat. I am using my mobile as my brother-in-law is using my netbook to watch Quantum of Solace.
  11. @slaphappybeauty No Christmas markets so far. I've been too busy filming things and feeling cold.
  12. @chocosquirrel Yes, but I've just gotten in. Need to warm up a little and then ponder a shopping strategy. It may involve not shopping.
  13. Over ten years of visiting Berlin, my trips have gone from clubbing and drinking to school runs and reading stories to children. This is ok.
  14. @chocosquirrel Hooray. It gets dark very early here. Finished filming for the day. Tempted to go out shopping, but also tempted to stay in.
  15. Berlin 2009. It's very cold. I have worn my green and black beanie a lot. So far I've seen little of Berlin, buts lots of children.
  16. @chocosquirrel Very impressive. Did you get very drunk last night?
  17. I am off into the cold soon. The wind blows in from Siberia. The trams have central heating though.
  18. It's still quite early in London, isn't it? Here in Berlin it's late. So very late. Life here is very free of James Ward-type characters.
  19. Good morning. It's sunny but cold in Berlin. I have been much retweeted in the night.
  20. Like an eclipse, that can only be safely witnessed through a reflection, or a cheap piece of cardboard.
