Of the two '60s-set movies about professors with similar titles, I much prefer A SERIOUS MAN to A SINGLE MAN. Still, I do love Colin Firth.

As for Pasolini's Accattone, I didn't care a lot for the Jesus as pimp allegory plot but it was the most gorgeous film I've seen in awhile
