  1. Not fun: attempting to expand a paper I wrote two years ago so that it fits the requirement for grad school admissions.
  2. @pauldebenedetto oh. A Serious Man is great. You should see it while it's still playing.
  3. @pauldebenedetto who is "they"?
  4. Of the two '60s-set movies about professors with similar titles, I much prefer A SERIOUS MAN to A SINGLE MAN. Still, I do love Colin Firth.
  5. @FilmDrunk please don't make me click on stuff like that. Tag it NSFMB (not safe for my brain).
  6. @pauldebenedetto Anthony Hopkins will obviously have to appear in the #draculawerewolf movie, whenever it's made
  7. "A Very Special ANTICHRIST Thanksgiving" For some reason they're not serving mashed potatoes at this. Or mashed balls. http://bit.ly/7y0aga
  8. @kateyrich I appreciate the homage, but man JGL really seems like such a hammy fake in his monologue. Terrible voice, too.
  9. @onlocationtours ah! I do love film location tours, though I guess I'll have to actually see SATC first.
  10. @onlocationtours Thanks. To which post are you referring?
  11. @therealJENGILS He drinks Coors Light. the "Silver Bullet." He does this ironically.
  12. And I was called out for being a dork for trying to talk about Barbara Kopple's documentaries while her nudie movie is on.
  13. At 4th Ave Pub where Havoc is playing on IFC and the bar is going crazy for Anne Hathaway nudity.
  14. Finally I Vitteloni is not 1 of my favorite Fellinis cuz I typically dont care for Diner/Mean Streets type guys buddy movies, but like it ok
  15. Third fave of the day was Bread, Love and Dreams if only because Gina Lollobrigida is so captivating. Vittorio De Sica is pretty good too.
  16. But I really didn't like Rosselini's Voyage to Italy, despite normally liking stars Ingrid Bergman and George Sanders.
  17. As for Pasolini's Accattone, I didn't care a lot for the Jesus as pimp allegory plot but it was the most gorgeous film I've seen in awhile
  18. Every time I see Umberto D I relate to it more. But I still don't have a little dog, so that's weird.
  19. @therealJENGILS this is about Twilight, isn't it?
  20. In addition to seeing five Italian films in a row, I will also be eating Italian food and drinking wine at the theater, too.
