  4. Tremblay will keep his seat as Mayor of Montreal.
  5. With 36% of the vote, incumbent mayor Gérald Tremblay maintains a slight lead on Harel, who is at 32%.
  6. Gérald Tremblay continues to lead, with 3,459 more votes than second place Louise Harel. Bergeron remains in third place.
  7. Approximately 5.3 per cent of ballots have been counted, assuming all eligible voters cast a ballot.

  9. Preliminary results are showing Mayor Tremblay at the head of the pack with 41%. Harel has 32%. Bergeron has 22%.
  10. Vaillancourt wins mayoral seat (again!) in Laval. With 62% of the vote, he will enter his sixth mandate.
  11. All polling stations closed. Millions of Montrealers & the 398 men and women who ran in the race await results of the 2009 municipal vote.
  12. 12 polling stations experienced delays this morning, so will remain open until 8:55, delaying final results. All other stations have closed.
