  1. First pages transport you immediately to another world (and no, it's not sci fi). Beautiful language.
  2. Book I haven't read but can't give away: Michael Cunningham's A Home at the End of the World (yes, the movie with Colin Farrell)
  3. Relationship books: I couldn't get through Emerson Eggerichs' popular Love&Respect. Has some interesting insights, but mostly bad writing.
  4. At chapter 20 of Dan Brown's Deception Point. It's starting to feel like Michael Crichton's Sphere, but more cinematic.
  5. I haven't run in two weeks and feel sorely out of shape :(
  6. I can't believe I haven't registered for the Condura run after having known about it for weeks. Baka too late na :(
  7. @antondiaz Oh no! Hope it's not that bad tomorrow morning. We're going to Batangas :(
  8. @riaosorio Talaga? Ako din! Sarap! :) Any other recommendations?
  9. Lunch at Swagat Indian Cuisine along Rada St. with a dear friend today. Then Roti and instant Matter Paneer shopping at Assad's. Enjoy! :)
  10. Yup, SM North and MOA IMAX :) Fully booked kanina, though. RT @justinepapina: @TheBookBuzz Avatar's still showing?
  11. Off to meet a dear friend for lunch (after some errands). Then Avatar!
  12. Finished! Pens up, pass your papers :)
  13. @margauxsalcedo Had trouble a few days ago with the free wifi at SM North SkyGarden too.
  14. Beginner frisbee, anyone? Just found out a good friend plays regularly at the Sunken Garden and they're open to newbies Sat mornings.
  15. @cielowee I love tofu and spinach and mushroom! Don't like kimchi though :)
  16. Finally gave in to a piece of Toblerone after eating everything else the whole afternoon trying to avoid it.
  17. @justinepapina So far, so good. Would've loved to have gotten The Lost Symbol, though. :D
  18. Who wants my paperback copy of Orhan Pamuk's Snow? http://bit.ly/7OQ51N Just because the Nobel folks liked him doesn't mean I have to, too.
  19. Cleaned out my bookshelves. Just realized I have two copies of VS Naipaul's Half a Life.
  20. Next on my reading list: Robin Hardy's Ares of Westford.
