  6. Logging password as plaintext in a world-readable (and world-writable for that matter) file? Where's that cluebat gone?
  7. Loving the approach some people take to permissions. "This is all too confusing. 777 with it all then. Problem solved right!
  8. Wondering where I put my clue bat. I've got some people who could use a dose of it.
  9. Do you really have to log a line to system.log every time you're run launchproxy? That's just annoying.
  10. Emergency maintenance (system migration) completed in just under an hour. Not too shabby.
  11. Data migration in progress. Started the coffee machine descaling while I'm waiting.
  12. Off to work for some "Emergency Maintenance". Scheduled emergency maintenance at that.

  14. Network uplinks all moved to production hardware. Now to get software up to scratch.
  15. Sigh. One system just doesn't want to be happy and stable since said power issues. Looks like a major system migration just moved closer.
  16. Suitably unimpressed that the one day I leave the vicinity of campus for lunch we have power issues in the machine room. Sigh.
