  1. @virgilwashere am starting at a little payment services company in Adelaide St after New Years :-)
  2. I've just handed in my resignation..
  3. @_jonny: PGR3 this week, Fable II, some old school arcade games. Got Halo and Gears of War 1+2 too
  4. So, do I get an achievement for tweeting with an Xbox controller? :P
  5. Watching some helicopters (non-black variety as far as I can see :-)) passing over our office block.
  6. #puppet saves my sanity yet again - making deploying even funky and infrastructure-hostile apps bearable :-)
  7. Wondering why someone else's failure to outline requirements and timeframe is my problem? *sigh*
  8. @xwipeoutx what version? 2.6.2 crashes like a bad go-karter but 2.6.3 has been stable for me.
  9. @m_mayhem nope, dead as a dodo from Australia, trace ends at mzima.net LAX presence point
  10. Fighting form spam, not a good start to the week
  11. New Zealand Herald chickens out of news - http://bit.ly/1M1LgW that's a pretty bad precedent #newspapers #nz (via @glynmoody)
  12. Ran up an xcache 1.3.0 RPM for #fedora, runs OK on my F10 server but the #centos/#rhel build (1.2.2) isn't so happy
  13. Building evilvte packages between stints of Portal.
  14. Irony: Dent/tweet about getting self off Spamhaus, get followed by a twitter spam bot.
  15. Pulling my Slicehost VPS out of Spamhaus - thanks for your "policy" Rackspace. *sigh*
  16. @xwipeoutx I'm sure they know - and also know how corrupted the system is. Deternining their care factor is left as an exercise.
  17. @_jonny @xwipeoutx as the article states there's plenty of prior art so it *should* be invalidated - but the US patents system is broken..
  18. Dodgy app devs: I reject your (stupid) defaults and substitute my own (sane setup TYVM).
  19. My form sounds less like HAL9000 now. It's stopped calling me Dave, which is a good start.
  20. I wonder if I can write a web form with output that would pass the Turing test :-)
