  1. @txgowan Quality beverages do not recognize any nationality or creed.
  2. My wife is making a chocolate pavlova with raspberries. Looks amazing.
  3. @stayingin I'll give you the first part of that. ;) Failed to capture any of the excitement or soapy fun of the original. Dull & lackluster.
  4. @dloehr But the script really let the film down overall. Just not that strong and traded in cliches far too often. Didn't feel invested.
  5. @dloehr As someone said earlier, it's sad seeing the level of talent in one production. Hell, Carey Mulligan turns up in a non-speaking role
  6. @CapricaSeven With 4000 followers, can it be time for a non-generic and Jane-specific avatar perhaps? :)
  7. @zap2itbrill Ha! Hope you and @HitFixDaniel liked it after all my encouragement. Pimm's Cup is definitely one of my favorite drinks ever. :)
  8. @susanasaurusrex And the mint, of course! That goes without saying, Susan. ;)
  9. Pimm's o'clock. Heading home to make up a pitcher of Pimm's Cup: Pimm's No. 1, sparkling lemonade, strawberries, oranges, and cucumber. Yum!
  10. Public Enemies was nowhere near as good as it should have been. Script was strangely inert with predictable dialogue and listless pacing..
  11. Happy Fourth of July to US readers. Off now for an early morning screening of Public Enemies.
  12. Now seen all but one of all fall and midseason network pilots. Tops? V, Modern Family, FlashForward. Worst? Happy Town, Melrose, Eastwick.
  13. @BklynRunner Probably, but I don't think you get a personal barista that draws the espresso by hand at your own counter & pours the milk. :)
  14. @hercAICN Couldn't disagree more on that account. Found it torturous to watch.
  15. @BklynRunner Black Cat is Intelligentsia's super-rich, mind-numbingly amazing espresso.
  16. @ShawnRyanTV Second the love for Zeljko Ivanek, the second busiest character actor in Hollywood, behind Mark Sheppard.
  17. Breakfast at 3 Square Cafe and now sipping a gorgeous Black cat latte at Intelligentsia on Abbot Kinney. Sinfully good.
  18. Don't forget: the amazing David Mitchell and Robert Webb, plus Lost's Matthew Fox on tonight's ep of Friday Night with Jonathan Ross on BBCA
  19. @HartHanson @RoushTVGuideMag See, saltines with peanut butter necessitate the addition of preserves of some kind.
  20. @neilhimself @popcandy I concur. Michelle Ryan was absolutely marvelous in Jekyll. She made that limited series for me. And Moffat. :)
