  1. Hugging my girls tighter today and thinking about Anissa Mayhew and family. Hoping for a miracle #prayersforanissa
  2. @TheAngelForever That's appalling. Like every Walmart commercial is for Xmas - they can't even say 'holidays' and try to canvass them all...
  3. Great to see FL Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz speaking against horrific govt recs re: Mammogram guidelines. She was diagnosed at 41
  4. @LizPW thanks! We're all so excited. And it's a boy! A whole new world...
  5. FlashForward
  6. @taraburner I don't think I'll be able to make it, but good luck! I know you've been working hard on the event!
  7. @taraburner At this rate, we're going to go from summer right to next summer...it needs to cool off now!!
  8. @tsubi There's a homeless American Girl doll?? She has the 'Just Like Me' doll, which eerily does look like her. Not my choice, tho, creepy!
  9. My older daughter is seven today! Grandparents sent American Girl doll. Now we're in trouble...
  10. @CrunchyGoddess Great to hear :-)
  11. @CrunchyGoddess How are you feeling??
  12. @BeckyDMBR 16 degrees? Already? Sounds about as normal for October as 95 degrees is here!
  13. @BeckyDMBR This October seems to be stuck in August - hot hot hot. Not that winter is better. Meet you somewhere in the middle?
  14. @CrunchyGoddess not to be alarming but I walked around with those symptoms for a while and it turned out to be a hernia. Worth looking into
  15. @CoolMomsRule I agree about bringing to pick up RXs, but going to the craft store and other places is a bit too much. Some errands can wait
  16. If your child has the flu, why would you schlep the kid around for errands? Isn't it just as bad as sending to school? Grrr...
  17. All the H1N1 talk, emails, posters at school finally got to me when 6yo got sick - was relieved when I found out it was *only* strep
  18. @CityMama thanks so much for the book suggestion. We're getting into seriously uncomfortable territory, here!
  19. I knew this day would come eventually - anyone have a good 'where do babies come from book' for 4-7 yr olds? Questions are flooding in!
