  1. Heard on NPR re (over)cooking turkeys at too high a temp: "It's already been killed once; why do it a second time?"
  2. @jsnell Wow. I'm impressed. Congrats!
  3. As I understand it, can still use DiskAid for USB transfer, but can no longer see transferred files in FileApp. Still looking into this.
  4. Apple strikes again! Forces DigiDNA to remove USB transfer in FileAid > FileApp "upgrade"! http://bit.ly/7Za39h Same for all similar apps.
  5. Happy Thanksgiving to all...and to all a good night. Have great holiday. See you on the other side.
  6. @tomdar2 I have several utilities like this. Seems updates appear in VersionTracker every few days. 1Password, MacPilot are recent examples.
  7. If utility comes out with several updates a month, all with many bug fixes, should I be impressed with effort or critical of poor software?
  8. A Vote For Health Care, A Vote Against Gun Rights? http://bit.ly/8IqYf4 These people need to use a shovel to help them stoop low enough.
  9. I'm just now learning about 27" iMac's new Target Display Mode. You can display your MacBook Pro on your iMac. Sweet. http://bit.ly/8VknwF
  10. Tip re saved Web pages: In 10.5, you could not copy "Where from" URL etc. from Finder's Info window for page. In 10.6, you can! Try it.
  11. iPhoto 8.1.1 is out. http://support.apple.com/kb...
  12. @danfrakes Didn't feel it up here. Hope nothing serious going on down there.
  13. @ejacqui I get mine from Williams & Sonoma. Fantastic. Wish it were available all year.
  14. @brentkearney There was indeed some intended irony in my tweet.
  15. Wow! That's a lot of CPU resources this app is using!! http://yfrog.com/aua47j
  16. Should we repeat our open tweets 3X over 24 hr, at 8 hour intervals, to maximize their impact? So implies @GuyKawasaki: http://om.ly/cTFp
  17. Not that this was news to me, but I now have personal experience: You're not in for a fun day if you piss off both @bynkii and @flargh. Whew
  18. @bynkii Imagine a Mac Pro with no optical drives and solid-state "hard" drives. Not too far-fetched. It's already a lot smaller than today.
  19. @bynkii Wait. I was saving that for my next column.
  20. @bynkii ..But day is coming when smaller more iMac-like models will meet demand of the pro user. As for rest, Mac Pro is already dead.
