  7. In regards to the optical drive shortage, I've found the places that DO have them here have the price jacked up by double.

  9. I'm trying to determine whether is an industry wide thing, Australia wide thing or my suppliers just suck.
  10. Anyone else experiencing an optical drive shortage? Few suppliers in my city have any in stock (except for a few Pioneer burners)

  13. @innovativecrs I found a floppy. I hijacked a driver disk for another piece of hardware.

  16. Pet Peeve: Technicians who tighten thumb screws with a power screw driver. They are called thumb screws for a reason! :P

  18. @MathieuB Actually, I didnt even end up finding a blank one. I had a driver floppy for a gigabit network card that I hijacked.
  19. @MathieuB Yep, fun times. I realised how long it has been since I have used anything that needed a floppy. Took me a while to find one.
  20. @manderso7 A custom built PC. I told them I wasnt just saying that to get the sale, the bigbox PCs just werent good value.
