  1. Oh, and they did a good range of drinks including St Peters ales and a (very) local bottled beer too. Will definitely go back. Soon, I hope!
  2. http://www.eat17.co.uk/ - highly recommended. Great value, food was an excellent standard & well presented. Fully booked but squeezed us in.
  3. Discovery of the day: Eat17 - lovely restaurant in Walthamstow village, spoilt for both veggie & meat choices, fab food AND disabled access!
  4. I can hear @urglecom listening to the Christmas #1 next door. I'm still humming carols from the concert and he's listening to naughty words.
  5. Schumacher has signed the contract with Mercedes for 2010 in #f1. Wahey! I cannot wait, so EXCITED about it!
  6. Just back from singing (London Forest Choir's Xmas concert) - had a full house which was lovely, & the thrill of pulling it off & applause.
  7. You know how if you scratch a dog in certain places their leg twitches? Cray just licked his chest and made his own leg twitch. Doh.
  8. @Imogen_jo Snow has stopped, it should ease off a bit but still really icy out on the roads :( When she gets back give her a hug from me!
  9. @Imogen_jo Hey if you are renting a bus does that mean *you* can come and see *me*? Hope you're ok at home on your own :(
  10. @Imogen_jo Just been watching the london news - snow on the main routes out, very slow going so be patient! Poor claire.
  11. How do you choose "your" newspaper, and what does it say about you? I like the Times. Grauniad's comment website is ok too. Indie... no.
  12. RT @jellybabynet: People that carry jump leads must need them a lot... <= disagree, I carry them and never need them. Maybe most ppl do.
  13. Almost forgot - happy Yuletide!
  14. At last, proper chunky climps falling, settling fast. Hope it lasts rather than turning to sleet as predicted.
  15. #uksnow E11 5/10
  16. Sad to always have a "With sympathies" card to hand, but yet again it is needed. A friend & neighbour has just lost their mum. Horrid timing
  17. When a call from a withheld number begins "Can I speak with Mr Wilson-Flash" in an Indian accent, I get cross, esp. as I'm on the TPS.
  18. @Lulabella My Young Enterprise company sold "valentine kits" containing a choccie & condom... had to intercept small children & explain!
  19. Today's drizzle has finally turned to sleet, almost to snow. White lumps, but too heavy to flutter on their way down. Come on, we need snow!
  20. @funkensteinberg I get @urglecom to walk the dog for me while the pavements are still icy - too treacherous otherwise. Crutches & keen dog?!
