Had a matcha smoothie today at the Tao of Tea, wasn't bad, but didn't knock my socks off. Had a TON of ice in it though.

@ their tea is superb in every other way, it was surprising that it lacked any Qi. If it had... it would be worth 2x the price.

@ could be growing conditions or area, storage, handling, source of tea. Qi is an elusive thing but extremely palpable.
