  2. Let your kids help you comparison shop. Explain that the savings are worth the time spent looking for sales and the best price.

  6. This season consider giving a gift to charity in your name & your child's name. Explain the importance of giving to them that way.
  7. Lots of reports about ways to stop identify theft. Can't stress enough how important it is to regularly check your statements.
  8. As you begin to plan for 2010, ask your kids what their financial goals are. Offer to help create a plan for achieving them.

  19. Shop online w/ a credit card instead of a debit card. You’re more likely to get credit from the credit issuer if something goes wrong.
