  1. I am bummed: @scifilaura is leaving the 'tute. I will miss her.
  2. I need a speaker for middle-schoolers on Facebook safety.
  3. @moonrangerlaura My Dell @ home has a floppy, but it'd probably have to wait until after Bolder!
  4. I hate traveling, but I like going to Boulder, particularly to meet with the Ball guys. They do cool stuff!
  5. JWST Wavefront is getting more complicated. Cool term of the day: Phase Map File.
  6. Iran today reminds me very much of Iran from my high-school days. 1978.
  7. RT @NASA: Grunsfeld said, "Hubble isn’t just a satellite- it’s about humanity’s quest for knowledge." Thanks Atlantis crew & the whole team
  8. I'm in Ottawa for a JWST meeting, so I missed the final spacewalk. John Grunsfeld said it better than I could have anyway.
  9. 8hrs 2mins working on STIS, and they start thanking people. That's paying attention to your team. Way to go Mikes!
  10. Finally getting unscrewed!
  11. Tool doesn't work for Mike, so they'll use the opportunity to also recharge his air!
  12. New plan: Pull the third screw and then break the last one off! Not the sort of things you do with robots.
  13. So, Plan D is to try and break off the handrail. The crew would like to try Plan D before Plan C.
  14. Loping on over to the LOPE. Getting ready for the ACS repair, which is supposed to be the hardest task.
  15. Reading through a Ball spreadsheet for JWST meeting; look up and see a Ball logo on COS, now in HST. :-)
  16. Grunsfeld: "It's your call, but I'm reluctant to make an inertial measurement unit out of a box that won't firmly seat."
  17. Grunsfeld demonstrates that the crew is maintaining a sense of humor in the face of difficulty.
  18. Atlantis crew just worked through lost comm with the EVA guys. Bad switch setting. Mass: "That was scary!" Communication is critical!
  19. @moonrangerlaura that transit pic is about the most amazing thing I've seen in a while.
  20. Grunsfeld just asked for a hot shower and a good meal. He'll get a washcloth and a nuke-a-meal. For now. Way to go Atlantis crew!
