  6. When fishing for Tarpon utilize a strong shock tippet from 60-80lb mono, this keeps the Tarpons hard and ruff mouth from breaking the leader
  7. @LocalWaters there is always a Lamson in the boat with me, I know that I can always trust the performance and they will land any fish
  8. @JohnDollar67 yes they are very nice for high stick nymphing and steelhead in the higher weights, they are a bit soft for me though

  10. Getting the fly down quickly but quietly is critical when bonefishing and flourocarbon leaders help greatly to do this
  11. @johndollar67 I prefer to use a Flouro Leader and Tippet this way it sinks better, doesn't absorb water and is more invisible

  14. @johndollar67 in really flat conditions one bad cast can spook the whole school of 40+ fish. this won't really happen with a 12ft + leader

  17. @JohnDollar67 on the calm days we used 7's and on the windy ones a 9. both with floating lines and very long leaders, like 14ft

  20. About 20 Bonefish today, they are everywhere and eating everthing in site, that makes my job a lot easier, last day on the boat tomorrow
