  1. @sarahtarap Wow. That's interestingly messed up!
  2. Exactly! RT @rachelcdavies: RT @david_harvey it's not about Scrum vs Kanban vs Agile vs Lean: it's mindful vs mindless
  3. @gcirne Sorry, @amartinsn isn't the Alex the Deleter I talked about (if he exists at all!). However he may still be _an_ Alex the Deleter.
  4. @martinfowler We could improve logging by engaging the support guys as stakeholders, and by making devs answer 4am support calls!
  5. Weird. I'm now being followed by "IBM Rational". Twitter tells me "You may report IBM Rational for spam." If you only knew...
  6. What a lovely way to end #QCon week. RT @dchelimsky: great liquid dessert with @tastapod @mattyoho @iansrobinson @pandamonial @delitescere
  7. RT @lazydev: Thats 25 BDD frameworks for .net, how about _some_ cooperation guys? #bdd
  8. @KevlinHenney A stateless class with lots of methods is often just a tactic for namespacing and not very cohesive (eg java.util.Collections)
  9. @KevlinHenney I was assuming only behavioural methods rather than dumb accessors, so should still apply to a complex number impl
  10. @KevlinHenney Looks like I opened a can of worms! @stuarthalloway's point was functions use all their args, methods use only some fields
  11. @chris_stevenson Sorry I missed you - I was too broken to make it to the Thirsty Bear. Sat downstairs for a while - about to go to bed now.
  12. Damn. Missed the opportunity to catch up with @JoshuaKerievsky at #qcon
  13. Language discussion with @olabini, @pandamonial, Erik Meijer, @donbox. Never felt dumber. I'm loving it! #qcon
  14. RT @JoshuaKerievsky: RT @mfeathers: Motto at Google: The build system is the spellckecker of the IDE - Mark Striebeck #qcon
  15. Excellent FP vs OO fight between Erik Meijer and @pandamonial (and others). Erik is coming down on the side of OO. This is way fun! #qcon
  16. Erik Meijer: currying is just something Haskell programmers use to impress their mates: "Look! I wrote Perl in Haskell!" #qcon
  17. Erik Meijer: currying is just something Haskell programmers use to impress their mates: @
  18. Erik Meijer making my head hurt at #qcon. "It's not a mouse - it's a database full of millions of mouse clicks, and I can query it!"
  19. @sanityinc Yayy! Spurkle to the rescue! Although I'm going to try to learn the emacs keybindings so it will be easier for pairing :)
  20. RT @eriksowa: "Stuff you could learn from me down the pub" is the better name for @samnewman's talk at #qcon. He tells good stories.
