  1. @SweetestGigi well of course, it is unfair. Santa is effectively a secular figure in any event. references to Saint Nicholas notwithstanding
  2. Trying to delete an account results in a complete lockup. Double Boo.
  3. huh. didn't take long to find my first bug. no matter how many times I uncheck it, it adds a certain account to my "smart inbox" - Boo.
  4. Installed Thunderbird 3 - I'll give it this - it seems a hell of a lot faster.
  5. @SweetestGigi only if you'll work for M&M's and great conversation. :)
  6. days you love being self-employed : soldering chime wiring while eating M&Ms and watching Mythbusters...
  7. @petersagal it's the eyebrows that are disturbing, I think. Still, few can claim the sculptural perfection that is your forehead.
  8. @charbarred we enjoy reading you anyways. :)
  9. @TinaWRey wow, truck problems just in time for xmas tuning. How convenient...
  10. haven't designed the top of my new toolbox yet. but the bottom is gonna have a pair of THESE. http://bit.ly/5HQEjk
  11. @TinaWRey "The one in the chamber has to know how to get what they want, the one at the console has to know what to want." - A Wise Voicer
  12. @TinaWRey one note at a time not enough? Tune the mixture. ;)
  13. in other organ news, my new toe cone has officially made my tool bag heavier than the sun. time for a new toolbox...on WHEELS.
  14. http://twitpic.com/spen0 - No more crusty rubber donuts on THESE chime dampers! New felt, custom dyed, and a fresh coat of finish.
  15. @TinaWRey I'd say if you can wield the cutup knife and toe coner, you'd do just fine on a spinning wheel with a bit of practice. :)
  16. @TinaWRey My Lady spins alpaca frequently, though Wool is her predominant fiber.
  17. @TinaWRey Cat fur is generally thought to have too short a staple to spin well. Some people have gotten good results with "dog" (smelly)
  18. @TinaWRey I've repaired, finished, and refinished spinning wheels but never scratchbuilt one. It's a 2010 project, already drafted actually.
  19. @TinaWRey Good luck with the Yule Tuning. I'm entering the home stretch on the chime restoration, wiring and polishing. she looks smashing.
  20. In the future, I'd like it if the guys doing my brake jobs actually TIGHTEN the lug nuts.
