  3. Blue Book? Yes, but we seldom get requests any more.
  4. Magic Tree House series - order of books? Easy question and we get it fairly frequently. Some other series more difficult to untangle.
  5. Driving directions from Takoma Park to the H H Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis? Yes, that we could answer.
  6. 10 year old who returned Diary of a Wimpy Kid : Dog Days raves. Says she read it straight through.
  7. And why is Shipping News in "new books"? We have no answer for that either. This is not a good night.
  8. Screwtape Letters? Yes, a couple of editions. Patron wants to know why they are in 248 instead of fiction.
  9. Specter of the past byTimothy Zahn.? Supposedly, but the whole adult pbk SF collection is missing, at least those of us here can't find it
  10. PRAXIS test prep? Yes, for anxious teachers
  11. Thesaurus, for check out, suitable for a 7th grader? Yes. In fact we had two.
  12. Recommended by a reader: Lieutenant Nun: Memoir of a Basque Transvestite in the New World. Does look super. Autobiog of Catalina de Erauso
  13. Spanish books for children learning Spanish? A number of picture books, some NF, lots of tape/book sets
  14. Food in New Zealand? yes - some info and recipes in the ref set Food and Culture
  15. Armadillos? yes French and Indian War? yes, but mostly checked out
  16. Hijab ? Usually headscarf, but meaning seems to vary - from the literal veil to general sense of "modest dress" ~if we've got this straight
  17. Christmas music on CD curiously hard to find. In a special "hol" collection.
  18. Orgami books? Lots.
  19. Visual dictionaries? yes, we have some.
  20. Wild Swans: Three Daughters of China by Jung Chang just returned with an enthusiastic recommendation. The reader quite loved it.
