  1. Company dinner mania: @benoitsc just said "The Corvette is the Dell of cars." Nearly fell off my chair laughing.
  2. Sigh. Not feeling like much of a "real leader" today.
  3. “Real leaders are not people who can point out what is wrong..Real leaders are people who can make things better” http://tinyurl.com/ydvgy5f
  4. If I won @steepster's contest (http://bit.ly/tea-contest), the first tea I'd make with @joeyroth's Sorapot is Jasmine Silver Needle!
  5. @dgillesfr Not a bad idea. Haven't upgraded to Snow Leopard bc it tends to break Photoshop CS3, but this mail issue might trump that fear.
  6. Word/Excel/PPT are acceptable in Office for Mac. The main problem seems to be Entourage, which I use every darn day, all day (@gizmomonster)
  7. To be clear, I'm SO not loving Office right now, but I don't think OpenOffice is a viable alternative yet.
  8. Wow - do you guys really think that OpenOffice is a sufficient substitute for MS Office?
  9. Excited about taking US colleagues out to @KingfishSM for holiday dinner celebration tonight! Fab food & drink, & superlative company
  10. I've uninstalled & reinstalled Office, & now it's more broken than before. Serious suckage.
  11. @peterme Don't forget Ashley McIsaac!
  12. @lilysea Thanks for the cheering squad (I definitely need it)! Sounds like you've made progress today too. Hope you find latkes in Chicago!
  13. I've finally gotten my protagonist to the squat, and have gotten her initial emotional reaction to the place. I think that was the hard part
  14. Reading treasure trove of 10-yr-old queer zines as inspiration for scene in novel. @katebornstein, they quote you in one of them. So sweet!
  15. Happy Chanukah everyone! May you all have a bit more light than you expected this holiday season.
  16. @flocker Well, yes. Button would be a UX band-aid. Depending on how technically hard the problem is to fix, tho, it might be worth it.
  17. Delightful case of mistaken identity: gal thought I was her professor, an amazing artist w/beautiful work: http://billiemandle.com
  18. MS Office for Mac DB corrupted AGAIN. Would seriously stop using it if I liked any alternatives. MSFT should pay me for my own tech support
  19. Hey NYC Tweeps- @icsoftwaresean is going to NY soon, send him some food recommendations! (My $.02: Malatesta in the Village)
  20. Welcome to the Twitterverse, @benoitsc! (on short list of the most interesting people I know. If you know me, you know that's saying a lot)
