  1. Doh. Advising a trusted senior-level someone on how to correct the dreaded "reply all" mistake. Any thoughts from the wise Technorati here?
  2. RT: @austingovella 16 tips for writing well when writing about design learned from Boxes & Arrows: http://ping.fm/tMHYe (thanks @livlab!!)
  3. Wow- brain seems to be functioning better each day. Half a day's actual work done so far. Soon, some exercise. Healing process is palpable
  4. Hey writing geeks: check out @jay_lake's #wip tweets for delightful, out-of-context snippets of what he's working on (Jay, I <3 these!)
  5. @CherylMorgan *FanGirl envy moment* Please thank GRRM from the bottom of my sparkly geeky heart for being who he is & doing what he does!
  6. OK, @flocker, I'm still getting that bug. Click/tab away from my browser window & my text-in-progress disappears #flock
  7. Read interesting little article today about #twitter & product innovation: http://bit.ly/YN9rD
  8. Wow- thought about workish things today, caught up with @gizmomonster, & enjoyed it. My Regular Life might really come back someday soon.
  9. My team & boss are awesome- they have been rockin' it full on in my absence. @malcolmmgd & @gizmomonster had all my stuff covered #gratitud
  10. @gizmomonster @mrstolt What still needs to be sent over pond? CS3 or monitor? I have thoughts, will email you guys.
  11. MORE perspective yesterday: my sis-in-law is au pair for a family, 1 of whose 14-month-old twins died suddenly Sat PM. Unimaginable horror.
  12. Up and about again, reading emails, returning calls & scheduling more doctor follow-ups. Feeling almost human, physically at least
  13. And now for some perspective: jeez louise, it could always be harder. I could be going through what @jay_lake is (sending strength your way
  14. Most pervasive overall feeling now is #gratitude- amazing family & friends, superlative medical care, incredibly supportive boss &coworker
  15. Online for a bit, trying out what it's like to be back in the somewhat-real-world. How I'm doing: postpartum symptoms sans baby suck a lot.
  16. It's over, home now, just R & me. Physical relief/less pain than expected =mostly overshadowing emotional pain. And now, to heal.
  17. Am not doing well. Prayers please. Going offline for a while.
  18. Hoping tomorrow will be less doctor-licious & that I'll have more energy. Still need to figure out coverage plan for my team.
  19. Another stable day in hospital. Tons of drs, some helpful, some not. Obnoxious ultrasound tech=FAIL. Shower & baby heartbeat= best of all.
  20. 2nd full day in hospital not so bad. Got sleep, new IV that doesn't ache, nice strong fetal heart rate. And not a blip of contractions! :-)
