  1. @smuu Art's nothing special, but great exploration of emotional abuse/neglect, consequences, and the cycle of abuse couched in a fairy tale.
  2. @smuu In my opinion, yes. Starts with cliches and slowly inverts. Plus, famous for enraging its yaoi/ship community mid-run.
  3. Strip posted late as per usual, but done. Today: Presentation construction at work, Terry Pratchett's "Nation" at home.
  4. Returned from dog's obedience class ridiculously tired. Must be something exhausting about bending living creatures to your will.
  5. Ever notice how it's always the friends who don't start work until 11am that suggest the 12am weeknight showings?
  6. Rough pencils completed approx. 12:00 am. Detail-work this afternoon, letters/lines hopefully after dog's obedience training.
  7. Last night: Attempts at sleep thwarted by systematic feline assaults. Now: Thunderstorms and a deep coma.
  8. Will be away this weekend; overnighting for friend's b-day. Going to be wrecked, but friend's been having a shit time lately.
  9. Exerpts on Zoroastrian death rites -http://www.hinduonnet.com/t...
  10. @exstasiss Because Toronto is like NYC, only without all the stuff? :) (I really need to stop using that 30 Rock quote.)
  11. @kwertzy Someone needs to take your luck with apartments behind a shed and shoot it. Seriously, WTF?
  12. Zoroastian ossuary (astodan), a "Tower of Silence" - http://bit.ly/5Eqnw . Somehow both poetic and creepy.
  13. Original newsreel footage of the Hindenburg: http://bit.ly/zpZqk It's easy to lose scale w/o the visual.
  14. @amyamychan Yes, brilliantly I missed it last week. Still makes me happy, though. (Also, I haven't upgraded Photoshop since 5.0 on purpose.)
  15. Hey, Oliver Sacks (the neurologist who wrote The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat, Awakenings, etc) is on the Daily Show tonight.
  16. Head and body aching. Hard to concentrate. Wish I could just bow my head and have the words pour onto the page.
  17. Nice. Aaccording to the 2008 statement, my 401k actually lost over 1/4th of my investment. Glad I only paid in 7 times.
  18. Awoke achey and with a sore throat. I disapprove of how this day is starting.
  19. @Technophobia Seconded on the birthday. :)
  20. @ladyseraph Wouldn't call this an endorsement so much as a "Don't discount it off-hand, it definitely does SOMETHING." Yay experience.
