  1. That's why 60 Min piece has various different interview clips. After story of Agassi's crystal meth use broke, Couric had to go back to AA
  2. Most interesting part of NYT story is despite having Agassi book, Katie Couric didn't think it was worth asking AA about his drug use. Oops.
  3. RT @LaceyVRose: How Sports Illustrated scooped Sports Illustrated on Agassi's drug use: http://bit.ly/1msHFJ
  4. Excellent 60 Minutes piece on Andre Agassi. Should go a long way to quiet the critics bashing him for his drug use. Genuine person.
  5. RT @dceiver: Oh, Detroit, I love you, but you are bringing me down! - Welcome to my life.
  6. Lions start out w/ 17-0 lead and Stafford 10-14 with 2 TDs. We lose 32-20 and Stafford ends with 5 INTs. Welcome to being a Lions fan.
  7. Apparently, by watching the Lions complete their gag against the Seahawks, I missed a great comeback by SD against the Giants. Ugh.
  8. Sarah Palin is really paranoid. Frighteningly so.
  9. @BenSmith cites @jmartpolitico story: Palin was implicitly knocking Ds for moving "in God we trust" on dollar coins. But Bush/Rs did that
  10. @shoowop From such hope to such despair and so quickly too.
  11. Amazing...Down by 5, Lions will get the ball back and get a chance to drive for the game winnin score. Let's see....
  12. Calvin Johnson not thrilled with being all but ignored in the second half and I don't blame him. Lions have turned back into a pumpkin
  13. @readergirl @TeresaKopec Memoirs and autobiographies sometimes work best in first person. Essays and other papers though don't IMO.
  14. @TeresaKopec You can have third person and active voice would be my response.
  15. @TeresaKopec First person? Really? Maybe things have changed in the last couple years, but that's a new one on me.
  16. @JoeNBC Good point. I still think that if Democrats can put together a solid conferenced bill (a big if) this could be viewed as a success
  17. And the Lions implosion is complete. Up 17-0 to start the game, score is now 22-17. Not looking good for the Leos...
  18. @JoeNBC So I guess the point is, we don't know what will or will not hurt the Democrats until we see what's in the conference bill.
  19. @JoeNBC The final bill is what matters tho, not what was or in yesterday's bill. Lot of bluster for a necessary but ultimately prelim step
  20. This game is a perfect picture of the 2009 Lions: Flashes of greatness to come, maddening breakdowns/inconsistencies, not there, yet. Yet
