  11. @mushon Many programming language design choices are _not_ rational ergo pointless language wars. It's all about taste ;)
  12. @mushon programmers do care about design (their language/interface), in this light their disregard for good (visual) interfaces is comical
  13. @mushon Not the construction of PLs (very complex), but intangible design aspects for users - is it simple, is it flexible, is it friendly?
  14. @mushon i.e. Python is definitely the result of open source, but the overall feel is largely due to a designer: Guido.

  20. @blackberryocto Don't do much of that unless I'm programming OpenGL or something and need fast math. I prefer Objective-C over C++ ;)
