  1. New Slayer album is actually quite good. #fb
  2. RT @eriksowa Stu Charlton does a much better job on the dynamic provisioning story than Oracle's keynote. Vendor hype ugh. #qcon < ty! :)
  3. @Beaker That was my confusion at #interop... "private cloud is bunk, marketing, etc." Some want enterprise IT to implode, like, tomorrow
  4. RT @tomkerigan: Air Canada launches inflight Internet access http://bit.ly/16fUea < ooo now i won't feel bad I'm not flying virgin home :)
  5. need. to. crash. Sorry QCON folks, I was up at like 1:30am pacific to catch my flight back here, and it has caught up with me! ./nite
  6. Finished my QCon talk on Agile Operations. Good turnout. Good questions. Amused that some people love models and others hate them.
  7. "Anything that doesn't take years of your life and drive you to suicide hardly seems worth doing." - Cormac McCarthy http://bit.ly/20eHVO
  8. Back in sf. Somewhat colder than Ny?
  9. @88angel alone and arriving. Wearing a Red hoodie looking groggy.
  10. @vambenepe The Azure training kit on MSDN I think is the best source of info.
  11. RT @shaneschick: Just found out that the Carleton cinema is closing in Toronto on Dec. 6. I feel like crying.
  12. @shaneschick nooo! Whats left for art house cinema, the Cumberland?
  13. Kudos to Microsoft on SQL azure, they clearly listened to their customers and partners. Finally a *real* cloud database! ./duck
  14. Just ran into (almost literally) Anderson Cooper at JFK
  15. but thanks to @acroll for some lively panels and good discussion #interop
  16. #interop cognitive dissonance today: a panel telling the (mostly enterprise IT) audience public cloud > them, private cloud? gtfo.
  17. @sheynkman West side Sushi of Gari. was walking distance from Javitz. Omakase was great.
  18. @Scobleizer AT&T has upgraded in SF, it's leaps better than 2008. But they still can't seem to handle the Moscone throngs
  19. Most NY hotels suck IMO but I managed to get a room at the new Kimpton Ink48... what a great experience. Clean, quiet, arty, good staff
  20. Sushi of Gari with @botchagalupe .. Great meal and discussion
