  1. was talking about aussie slang and had a friend guess that a franger might be a freckled ranga. Tee hee. http://tinyurl.com/ydszdhq
  2. @nunsleepybear Oh thanks! It's funny that that photo was taken about a year ago but is still popping up on new brochures and things.
  3. @nunsleepybear Hey pauline, I was in melbourne for three days, it was great! Am still in Samoa until the end of February.
  4. is still loving samoa, but looking forward to what her next life adventure may be...
  5. friends, fa'afafine show, curry, cocktails, dancing, lock-in at zodiac, after party, cake, pink ice cream, tequila shots = good birthday!
  6. is 27 and enjoying a double birthday - it was my birthday yesterday in Aus but with the time zone difference it's my birthday today in Samoa
  7. I'm turning 27 in two days and haven't organised a thing!
  8. @LeicesterCook I'm thinking about wellington! I don't love Auckland.
  9. is thinking about where to live after Samoa. Africa? Canada? Ireland? Japan? Back to Aussie? Preferably a place with a lindy hop scene!
  10. loves how colourful graduations in Samoa are, and how all the graduates get leis made of fresh flowers, lollies, and even tim tams.
  11. @liahc I think so. Auckland = Sydney; Christchurch = Adelaide; Wellington = Melbourne.
  12. @AATourism I know! I haven't even been to wellington but have met lots of people from there and think it'd be a cool city based on that.
  13. I've decided my favourite new zealand people tend to be those from wellington. Could it be a melbourne/wellington synchronicity thing?
  14. is back in samoa, and has discovered you can now buy tsunami samoa souvenir t-shirts! WTF? That didn't take long.
  15. has arrived in chch for the big band festival and is struggling to find a decent cafe in town. Any suggestions?
  16. is sad to leave melbourne so soon but looking forward to the big band festival in christchurch and my last chance to lindy hop this year.
  17. loves melbourne! old friends, amazing food, sunny weather, fashion, swing dancing, the retreat in brunswick, everything I want and desire!
  18. @librarythingtim Your talk was great! Very relevant and thought provoking,
  19. had a great time at LIANZA, hanging out with the koha and kete peeps and getting samoan and pacific library issues on the radar #lianza09
  20. @jobeaz Hi Jo, I'm in Aus for a week, then back to NZ, then Samoa, and finish in Samoa in February. :
