  1. #dutch Eurlings tijdens opening A73:"Men heeft te veel vertrouwen gehad in totaal onbewezen techniek". GPS kastjes dan? http://bit.ly/8k1iEC
  2. @cbetta Don't let the #bcl7 crew get their hands on them!
  3. @cbetta :) It's more that 0.10 looks a bit meh. That, and as lombok uses private API, the distinction of 'stable' and 'beta' is very grey.
  4. Project Lombok is now at v0.9.1 and this next release adds a lot of new features (delombok, netbeans support). v1.0 okay?
  5. @tommorris is it still Turing complete if decorating your foot with lead is off the table? :)
  6. @joshmarinacci Is there any chance maitai will ever work on leopard (not slow leopard), or is the API just missing?
  7. @campbellmichael I hope not. issue9 (I refuse to call it go) is not a good language. Maybe for some kernel bits.
  8. @peterkaptein probably lacks the horsepower, but there are arduino mifare (=RFID in ov-chipcard) readers.
  9. @danielspronk @alper Lots of places have architecture limits - new buildings must fit. So, this law prob. means: anything minaret-shaped.
  10. @wspruijt Daar gaat mijn zondag.... Eindelijk een reden om die iPhone app ook meteen op te pikken.
  11. OV-chipcard now renders €4,- (minimum amount to get into local public transport) as €0, sort of like oyster. Win for usability!
  12. @joeracer You can use javascript to fake animating a bunch of separate PNGs, but, that is only feasible if you have only a few frames.
  13. Jan Lahoda, a netbeans developer, just contributed a patch for experimental projectlombok support in netbeans! This is _awesome_.
  14. @the_jamezp Yeah. lombok v0.9.2, with delombok, will be out Real Soon Now. Then lombok will play nice with GWT.
  15. @catchpolenet Java isn't dead. Obviously. Yay JVM and all, but that's a silly thing to say.
  16. Random fun fact of the day: In 1 clocktick on a modern processor, light can barely cover the length of your chip! http://bit.ly/4MwSzQ
  17. Just realized we did an interview with the other side of the world (literally! New Zealand), high quality, for free. I love the internet.
  18. @sherod @RichardVowles Well, I'm glad he tweeted that. Gives me another argument to push usage of gradle instead of maven.
  19. @leipie Before you start spending money on toys, can you pay me back instead?
  20. @talios The swearing or the quick turnaround :P
