  1. Soul Asylum covered "Sexual Healing"? This is wrong.
  2. @gatagorda The nymphs came from a review that appeared in a Cerridwen Press book. The turgid manhoods are ALL MINE.
  3. Romance review sites that assign "things" to rate books (e.g., four nymphs!) crack my shit up. I give this book three turgid manhoods!
  4. WOXY Vintage rarely disappoints, but they are currently playing a big steaming pile of crap by the Crash Test Dummies. Ugh.
  5. at work. it's quiet. leftover turkey for lunch.
  6. Creative spelling of my last name on the staff web site...this time, I'm Donahoe. The 15-year-old in me is pissed at being called a hoe.
  7. @flyingnuns That's a lot of cat, but I know people who have more than 5 and are perfectly sane, normal people.
  8. @flyingnuns I always look too, because one of these days Tim will allow me to adopt the elusive fourth cat.
  9. @younglibrarian I usually download most of those, unless they get really weird (sexy dragons)
  10. Negative book reviews in Romantic Times always crack me up. As does an erotica reviewer whose last name is "Wiener." How apropos!
  11. I wish there was more free content for the Kindle that didn't come from a religious publisher.
  12. Congrats @mickjacobsen on being selected as an instructor for ILEAD U--I'm looking forward to learning from you!
  13. I can now announce that I'll be a mentor for the Illinois State Library's ILEAD U program! http://bit.ly/4waCL2
  14. @flyingnuns I think you need to start a zine called the Olde English Newsletter.
  15. @Musebrarian Also, I'm glad I can check you off the mental list.
  16. @Musebrarian Me too. I can't stop thinking about my friends who are GSLIS students (and worrying about them).
  17. So it looks like I will be creating an original record for this Rockford Files Movie Collection DVD. Bleargh.
  18. @aslaughter Awesome! I hope you get in to Synergy--it's an excellent program.
  19. @rockityroll Excellent blog post--it encapsulates a lot of my problems with the series in a very intelligent manner!
  20. @librarianmer Oak Park Public Library's genre x blog (genre-x.com). Love the blog and the programming behind it!
