@ Thank you much. I will definitely check out the Dev Center, and I will blog about my experiences combining Python and Flex.

Of course, with Flex plus a web service, does it really matter what language the backend web service is written in?

@ That looks like a very interesting talk. At the moment it appears that more Ruby folks are using Flex.

@ I don't know about that. You scared him away completely from the last PyCon. He better be at the next one. :-)

@ Bruce Eckel is who got me interested in Flex. I spent a lot of time with him at PyCon 2008 talking about Flex.

@ Yes, PyCon is the Python Conference. No, Flex is not commonly used with Python. But maybe I will change that. :-)

Twitter me if you would be interested in an Adobe Flex presentation at PyCon 2009 in Chicago. Let me know what you want to see covered.

I see that the PyCon 2009 call for proposals went out the other day. Maybe I'll get my act together and propose early this year.

@ I think I will probably propose a Flex presentation or two for PyCon '09, yes. Haven't presented at the last couple PyCons.

@ I'm hoping to have the same positive relationship with Flex and ActionScript, as I really need a good UI tool for my Python work.

@ I really appreciate that. If you look at my history you'd see I tend to be a vocal advocate for things I believe in, like Python.

@ - Are you still giving away the ActionScript books and stickers? If so, I'd love to get some for our user group.
