  1. Short lived crisis: water's back on.
  2. Great. Now they've just shut off water to my building because of a leak. And I have a load of clothes in the middle of the wash cycle.
  3. Just in a crappy mood this morning. Not even my usual morning hike has done me much good. Yankees better win today or it will get worse.
  4. Extra strength Tylenol, just get me through the last day of the week.
  5. Ack! Why am I getting pains again where my surgery was. Haven't had a flair up in two weeks. Thought this was all behind me.
  6. Last day at work for a while. Prep day tomorrow, then surgery on Friday.
  7. Those of you who still believe we have "no" humidity here in San Diego? At 6:45 this morning, it stood at 86%. Happy Comic Con week!
  8. WIRED's take on the San Diego squid and Comic Con. Funny. http://tinyurl.com/nmyzeb
  9. Looking forward to a favorite annual tradition: going for traditional Japanese food with Asako after Anime Expo. http://tinyurl.com/mokkae
  10. Acquired new Dylan, new Wilco for the drive north tomorrow.
  11. May seemed to last an eternity. June just went by in a flash. What's up with that?
  12. Now Billy Mays is dead too? Okay, this is officially too much!
  13. Bills, bills, bills. Hate 'em all.
  14. Watching Gran Torino. Coincidentally, a perfect movie for Father's Day, what with all it has to say about fathers and male role models.
  15. Late start on breakfast. Pancakes or eggs?
  16. Back from my morning hike through Balboa Park. Still looking for someone to go to the PJ Harvey concert with me.
  17. I fear the crackdown is coming soon in Iran.
  18. Sad that the cows have left La Jolla and I never got around to taking pictures. http://tinyurl.com/dxrqlj
  19. Pandora.com has started out all old school prog rock on me. Not bad for a Monday morning.
  20. Congrats to the L.A. Lakers, Kobe Bryant, and Phil Jackson.
