  1. Some airlines apparently want to forbid using electronics on international flights. People you are paranoid and it doesn't prevent anything.
  2. #GAE/Java's BigTable JDO API throws weird exception messages. Often times they don't help at all to find the issue in your code.
  3. I'm so glad we stayed home this Christmas. What a mess. Extreme hassle due to snow storms, terrorists and DCA under water.
  4. It really looks like I got to upgrade my iMac to 4GB. Doing too much stuff while compiling is too slow.
  5. Catching up on all the unread RSS feeds.
  6. The movie "The Hangover" seems to be overrated. Far less funny than I thought.
  7. Ordered my personal Christmas treat: #Griffon in Action from #Manning. Can't go wrong with 50% off.
  8. You could tell that Harris Teeter didn't get any supplies over the weekend. Potatoes, what's that? Empty shelves.
  9. Inglorious Bastards, a great movie. A true Tarantino. Favorite scene: When Hans Landa eats the Strudel. Christoph Waltz lived the character.
  10. Every issue of the Java Magazin takes over 1 month to be shipped from Germany to the US. How's that possible?
  11. Drinking homemade Gluehwein. Almost as good as at a German Christmas market. Wonder why the markets never made it to the US.
  12. More snow here in #DC than in the last three years all together.
  13. @_cirrus_ Amazon made big money with my orders this year. :-) Haven't bought a single present in a real store yet.
  14. Good job #Netbeans 6.8! #Groovy and #Grails support is so much better than in SpringSource #STS. Switching to Netbeans for private projects.
  15. Gotta love the @Delegate annotation coming with #Groovy 1.7. That's what I call DRY!
  16. Seriously thinking about buying the Personal Edition of #IntelliJ. I've had it with #Eclipse's plugin hell.
  17. Did you ever wish to be able to go back to a tweet to be able to fix typos?
  18. RT: @glaforge: Shared article: Interview:Guillaume Laforge and Graeme Rocher on Groovy 1.7 and Grails 1.2 http://bit.ly/4FalEN
  19. Yea, #Groovy 1.7 will support inner classes. I know you can work around that "shortcoming" but still it's nice to have to feature.
  20. Somehow the #Thunderbird 3 UI got a web application look & feel now. The improved search functionality is definitely helpful.
