  1. @MaryRobinette Whoops. Correction. It's at the printer, but with our backlog, will take about 2 weeks to hit the top of the shipping queue.
  2. HI ho, hi ho, it's off to the editing mines we go.
  3. Robert Silverberg just turned in a 27k word novella, his longest piece of fiction in over a decade. <<Insert pleased publisher noises>>
  4. Coco came home last night. Visited her then and this morn. She seems comfortable, and is affectionate. With luck, she keeps her leg.
  5. @JonathanStrahan I get unsolicited emailed submissions like that!
  6. Coco update. The kitty looks like she's going to make it, and it's possible she's going to keep her right hind leg. We loves her.
  7. Coco, the cat with dual citizenship at our home and our neighbor's, was hit by a car yesterday. Pray to the cat gods, please.
  8. Feeling a lot like Mr. Brightside today
  9. @billsquared Tis at the printer right now, and should be shipping very late this month or early next.
  10. Peter V. Brett turned in a novella for SUBTERRANEAN: TALES OF DARK FANTASY 2. Taking a break from Silverberg to give it an initial read.
  11. @timlebbon I would not subject either of the other cats to that. I just wish @yannikuznia had been here. She could take it.
  12. And the day goes south. Just had to wipe the cat's ass.
  13. First volume of the BLOOM COUNTY collected comics and a new Killers CD in today's UPS haul. Not bad at all.
  14. I paid dearly for that last corn muffin that @yannikuznia made. But they were GOOD.
  15. @cmpriest Yeah, I should be clear. The reviewer was told ahead of time a negative review was fine. And I made Cherie aware we might pan it.
  16. Great new books from PS Publishing by Beth Bernobich, Terry Lamsley, and Patrick O'Leary. Will be reading them when I break from King a bit.
  17. @scalzi You've been listening to Journey again, haven't you?
  18. @scalzi Yep, my first concert was KISS at the Pontiac Silverdome. Friday the 13th of July, 1979.
  19. @ccfinlay Not in my life, CCF, but thanks.
  20. Well, I've certainly been put in my place.
