  1. @TheCreativeLife Could be in a failure mode? Take the battery out for a minute. Then try again.
  2. @Nokiausers You guys keep talking about gaining back RAM. Which i don't believe. surely you mean C: disk space?
  3. @menon8000 If you don't put in company info then it won't show up!
  4. @stuclark1975 "It's in the Satio's media app" Talk me through this one, Stuart. That just gives me 'No podcasts'. How do I 'catch' podcasts?
  5. @stuclark1975 Yeah, ok, ok, I think I confused myself. I was updating about 3 phones at the same time, that day!! Ooops. 8-)
  6. @misterleoni "the N97 is kind of ugly and clunky?" The only thing about the N97 that's really ugly is the cheap plastic rear cover.
  7. @Ratkat "podcasting was a nokia app though?" Originally. But I'd gathered that the source code was available, since Samsung did a version.
  8. RT @vventurelli76: @stevelitchfield It's not you, The Droid very ugly and bulky. The Android OS 2.0 is nice however, It's beauty trapped ...
  9. @eckoplasm "Podcasting was a Nokia "exclusive"?" Hmmm. Samsung compiled the source code quite happily for the i8910 HD. Or cloned it?
  10. @weirdshanghai "all recent builds of s60 lack podcasting seems" Not true. Just the Nokia Eseries devices. And that's a marketing thing.. 8-(
  11. And is it just me, or is the Motorola Droid/Milestone rather ugly?
  12. Talking of the Sony Ericsson Satio, it too seems to lack S60 Podcasting - am I missing something?
  13. @jmcomms I'll pay more attention when i do the next update and take better notes - I do believe you and don't want to condemn it yet!! 8-)
  14. @jmcomms In fairness to the Satio, a) I was being a bit drastic with the update and b) it's easy to do a memory card backup, just in case
  15. Also annoying about the Satio: all data is lost by default when you update the firmware. And there's no way to 'switch' data into the device
  16. It doesn't say much for the Satio's (Sony Ericsson) App Store that the highlighted/recommended app is a £3 "Fartomatic" utility. Sigh.
  17. @Ratkat I could change it to Wednesday. In fact, have done so. Only picked Thursday at random. New date 6th Jan 2010.
  18. @Ratkat "live pub meet" Yep. Details now up. http://is.gd/5sIqM (Jan 7th 2010) Wonder if I'll get zero people or 100 people turning up!!!
  19. @Ratkat "a 'phones show' live pub meet" Yes, was going to do something like this. 7th January, I have a venue in mind near Reading.
  20. @j_loughney Thanks, noted. See the live pub meet tweet though 8-)
