  1. Wet and windy in Cornwall but lots of people at the Coffee Morning last Sat: a handsome sum raised for Museum funds! Well done everyone.
  2. Just heard we had 4682 visitors to the museum this season! Pretty good, hey? Time for my beauty sleep now .....
  3. I see the museum has been entered for Queen's Award for Voluntary Service: they certainly look after me very well and do lots more work too!
  4. Still plenty of time to come and see us: we are open until the end of October with lots to see. Lovely weather to visit St Agnes, too!
  5. So good to meet visitors from afar, especially Australia, searching for ancestors. The Cornish must have travelled as far as I did long ago!
  6. I see our famous Bellyboard Comp gets bigger and bigger at Chapel Porth - wish I could have seen the fun! Museum still open - don't forget!
  7. Very wet and windy today - must be Hurricane Bill in the Atlantic! Hope my turtle friends are all right. Still, lots to see at the museum!
  8. There's a new turtle jigsaw in my treasure chest for our young visitors - our regulars Samson and Ruby will be pleased! Hope they come soon.
  9. Turtle weather here today - wet! But good news: Liz tells me we have had 2426 visitors so far this year! It's the only place to be today!
  10. Did you hear St Agnes is in for Village of the Year? Lady Mary Holborrow visited recently with other judges: they looked at me, naturally!
  11. Looking forward to seeing lots of families now that the school hols are starting. Do ask for my story: 'Sam and the Leatherback Turtle'.
  12. Did you all hear the Radio Cornwall interview about our replica Roman coin find? The British Museum were impressed! Hope I'll see it soon.
  13. I see my friends the basking sharks have been seen off Newquay: hope the new babies are doing well!
  14. Phew! 25 in the shade in St Agnes.The Museum really is the coolest place to be today!
  15. Caribbean weather here again today: a swim in the Cornish sea would be lovely!

  18. Well, St Agnes Yr 5 certainly brightened up a grey morning. Lovely to see them again - they were great fun!
  19. Oh dear, it's raining today, but it's a good day for museum visiting, and we've got so many interesting things to see, as well as me.
