  11. New fortune cookie game for grad students: instead of adding "in bed" to the end of fortunes, add "For your thesis" to the beginning.
  12. Fire started in next door neighbour's dryer. Put out by DC firefighters, who got here in 2 mins. Apartment is smoky, but liveable. For now.
  13. Fire broke out in my apartment building. I'm okay and safe. Took something like this to get me Twittering again.

  15. @a_savage Thanks! And I do find it hilariously ironic when academics and journalists chastise Wikipedia for being cliquish and cabalistic.
  16. My twitterbot @wikiwars is online. It reports recently opened and closed deletion debates in Wikipedia. Warning: updates very frequently.
