  1. @al3x I have large hands and find it comfortable. Did you try holding it between your fingers like this? http://twitpic.com/qwnhv
  2. Back in Chicago. It was great to see everyone at #rubyconf.
  3. Rack-backed custom URL protocol for your MacRuby 0.5 application: http://github.com/sstephens... #rubyconf
  4. @packagethief I'm glad we spent so much time implementing offline mode in our apps.
  5. @Purephase Yes indeed. Not bad at all for $12.
  6. Just popped my in-flight internet cherry.
  7. Heading to SFO for #rubyconf.
  8. Beach House's web site is endearingly un-savvy. E.g. the download page (http://bit.ly/jHKPJ) is an Apache directory listing with a 41MB WAV.
  9. @shanev Productivity apps peak at the beginning of January too :)
  10. @lightcap I don't know what the specific differences are, but my copy is 220 pages and dated 1998.
  11. Diving into Okasaki's "Purely Functional Data Structures" tonight.
  12. Excited about @andrewdupont's Element#measure method, coming to the next version of Prototype: http://bit.ly/4dNAkR Simple and elegant.
  13. Motorists: If a cyclist stops for you, please GO. It takes far more time & energy for us to get going again than for you to step on the gas.
  14. Cough medicine is making my extremities numb, and also my brain.
  15. The two-finger swipe gesture is a little odd until you learn how to hold the mouse (lightly pinched between your thumb and ring fingers).
  16. Sits well in your hand. Right-click works every time. Tracking is precise, with no noticeable lag. Scrolling feels like direct manipulation.
  17. No, it's not a multitouch trackpad, but Magic Mouse executes on the basics better than any Apple mouse before it. A worthy upgrade.
  18. Giving the Magic Mouse a spin.
  19. Really nice set of improvements coming to Web Inspector in Safari: http://bit.ly/49Du1h (via @tobie)
  20. Taking control of your environment isn't a bad thing.
