  1. @pickett It's a result of the free version not requiring sign up. The idea was we wanted to comunicate that before you fill out your info.
  2. Working on an update to be pushed next week with improved tab key handling, word wrap, redesigned ads, and Ruby highlighting.
  3. Due a combination of popular demand and personal agreement, we just posted some temporary less blinky ads in the free version.
  4. @jjmcgaffey That is a crazy good idea. Funny we missed that. Done.
  5. @spolsky We already had issue with the ads. They're being redesigned to be static as I type.
  6. @_abi_ The first version of Squad didn't lock people out, but after some testing we liked the lock out method for code review and help
  7. @madmw The ads are a bit to dancey for us too. We're having them redesigned to be static right now.
  8. @jwickett @spolsky Long term we aim to more TextMate than Visual Studio. BTW, some improved indentation support is coming next week.
  9. @tghw Something odd going on. Can't reproduce the Safari issue. Had thousands of successful shares yesterday. Many in Safari. Investigating.
  10. @tghw Thanx. I assume you're on a PC? Chrome on the Mac hasn't been tested much, but FF to Chrome should work on PC. Will try to reproduce
  11. @tghw The ads are a bit to dancey for us too. We're having them redesigned to be static right now.
  12. @tghw What trouble are you having with the collaboration? Are initiating the share?
  13. @compsciguy We're actually having them redesigned as I type this.
  14. Thanks! RT @orangea: Squad, an online code editor: http://squadedit.com/ (I like it better than most downloadable editors!)
  15. @mccloo Just made a minor update to the Squad TOS to make it more clear that we don't gain rights to code you enter or paste into Squad.
  16. Squad is now featured on CSSDance! Check it out!http://www.cssdance.com/squadedit/
  17. @mccloo Right now, Squad doesn't store code you enter at all. It's not meant to be 'submitted' info. We'll revise so that's more clear. Thx!
  18. Squad is now featured on CSS Mania! Help us get a high rating and vote. http://bit.ly/8dRsiE
  19. RT @rww: Squad: "like a developers-only, less-crowded, actually useful version of Google Wave." @jolieodell http://bit.ly/5GvwV9
  20. Please take a second to vote up our launch story on Hacker News at http://bit.ly/7Q6p6f Thanks!
