Learned that my great-grandmother may have shot & killed my great-grandfather. Reported as acc. suicide due prominence of family in city.

Watched some good kids shows on the telly. Bozo the Clown...
Cicero was always hot and muggy. Thought it smelled of coal.
Some Cicero summer weeks spent in Crystal Lake, IL. with three cousins. Penny hikes and swimming in the lake. Lots of P&J sandwiches.
Some summers of my "ute" were spent in Cicero and others in Nebraska.
Sent many hot summers staying with grandparents Z in Cicero while my parents returned to university to get their Masters in Ed.
They were all in Berwyn, Ill.
Saw photos of all the homes where my dad and his siblings lived while growing up. His sister Ginny visited them all and sent great photos.
Dad told me that his dad made dandelion wine and beer in their basement in Berwyn.
Remember many many hollyhocks blooming behind the Legion house. Grandparents Foreman had a large print of Custer's Last Stand in kitchen.
Grandpa Foreman came home one day with a brand new 59 pink Cadillac. Soo cooool.
Remember the cooing of the numerous mourning doves in the large elm trees. Lots of elms, long before Dutch elm disease was prevalent.
Guess that was what Boy Scout knives were for.
Exeter has a great small place to spend summers in the 50s. Learned to play mumblety peg (http://is.gd/hJi) from codger in the neighborhood.
Remember finding 100s of checks in a very old dental office being demolished in this small NE town, called Exeter. Used checks as play money
